Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Universe of Alien (“the App”), published by Sohel Tanvir / OLL.E Inc, handles information when you use the iOS application.
1. Summary
Gameplay progress is stored on your device. In-app purchases are handled by Apple. The App shows ads through Google AdMob (rewarded videos and interstitial ads). With your permission, advertising partners may use device identifiers for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites to show more relevant ads. We do not sell your personal information.
App Store Privacy label alignment: Data collected from this App (including Device ID / advertising identifiers) may be used for tracking purposes and third-party advertising when you allow tracking.
2. Information we store on your device
- Game progress (coins, gems, inventory, planet unlocks, missions, settings)
- Daily rewarded-ad usage counts (to enforce fair free-reward limits)
- Free-spin / daily reward cooldown timestamps
- Optional Keychain / iCloud Keychain backup of save data so progress can restore after reinstall when signed into the same Apple ID
This gameplay data stays under your Apple account / device control and is not uploaded to our own servers.
3. Purchases
In-app purchases (for example gem packs) are processed by Apple through StoreKit / the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy terms also apply to those transactions.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show:
- Rewarded video ads (for example free shop rewards, free spins, or level assists)
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads between some mission stages
Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information to deliver, measure, personalize, and improve ads. Depending on your device settings and consent choices, this may include:
- Device ID — Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) when available, and similar identifiers
- Advertising Data — ads shown, interactions, and related performance data
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP
- Device and app information (model, OS version, app version, language)
- Product interaction / usage data related to ad delivery
We do not control Google’s full data practices. Please review:
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses data in advertising / partner apps: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google’s AdMob help: support.google.com/admob
We do not sell personal data to data brokers for money.
5. Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App may show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the IDFA. The App’s tracking permission text explains that we use this to show better ads and keep the game free.
If you tap Allow, Google AdMob and its partners may use your device’s advertising identifier and related data to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising and measurement (Apple’s definition of “tracking”).
If you tap Ask App Not to Track, or later disable tracking in Settings, ads can still appear, but they are typically less personalized and the IDFA is not used for tracking.
You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
6. Data used in App Store Privacy answers
Consistent with our App Store Connect privacy nutrition labels, the following may apply:
- Device ID — used for third-party advertising; may be used for tracking when you allow ATT
- Advertising Data — used for third-party advertising / analytics related to ads
- Purchase History — processed by Apple; may be referenced only as needed for StoreKit entitlements on device
- Gameplay progress — stored on device; not collected on our servers
7. Analytics
We do not use a separate third-party analytics product beyond what is required for ads and App Store distribution. AdMob may include measurement related to ad delivery and performance.
8. Children
The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own databases. Advertising partners may process data as described in their policies. Parents who have concerns can contact us (below) and can also use iOS Screen Time / content restrictions.
9. Data retention & deletion
Progress remains until you delete the App or clear app data. Uninstalling removes local UserDefaults data; Keychain items may persist or sync via Apple iCloud Keychain depending on your device settings. To clear progress, delete the App and (if needed) remove related Keychain entries from your Apple ID devices. Advertising identifiers and ad-related data retained by Google are governed by Google’s policies.
10. Your choices
- Respond to the App Tracking Transparency prompt (Allow or Ask App Not to Track)
- Change tracking later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Reset your Advertising Identifier in iOS Settings (Apple may relocate this control over time)
- Use the App without creating an account with us (no developer login required)
- Manage purchases through your Apple ID / App Store settings
- Control iCloud Keychain in iOS Settings if you prefer not to sync Keychain items
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
